The Meditation People take your privacy seriously and we are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our visitors to our web site and subscribers to our e-newsletters. We do not share any personal information with any third parties nor rent, sell, disclose or distribute your information to any outside parties.

What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?

1: Visitors to our website
www.themeditationpeople.com use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We use this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone. 2: Contact form
We use a Contact form on our website and collect your name and email address.  We use this to contact you and provide you with the information about our services that you have asked for on the form.

We will ask for your consent to use your email address to keep you informed of updates about our services.  You are under no obligation to provide this consent.

3:  Course booking form
We use a ‘book a course’ form on our website to collect your name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and we ask you if you have mobility problems.  We use this information as an essential part of the teaching process on our courses.  This information is kept confidential and is only seen by your meditation teacher.

We may ask for further information from you on a Course Application Form in order to obtain a better understanding of how we can provide the best meditation services to you. In all instances it is entirely your choice whether or not to provide information and all information this information is only seen by your teacher.

When Do We Share Information?
We do not sell or share your personal information with outside parties.  The information you provide on the course booking form may be passed from the teacher who administrates the website to the teacher who is providing your course.  We treat this information as confidential and it is not seen by any other party.

E-Mail and Newsletter Sign Up

As part of the registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information.  This is your name and email address. We use that information to tell you about free group meetings, courses and retreats and to provide a free follow-up service to help you make the most of your meditation.  We don’t sell, rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter and emails. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing MikeTheTMTeacher@gmail.com
